Kim’s vast sewing experience has covered over a 40 year period.  
She has been in the alterations business, specifically
bridal for over 10 years.

Kim has altered gowns by Maggie Sottero, Romona Keveza, Christos, Lazaro, Amsale, Vera Wang, Nicole Miller,
Jessica McClintock, Rivini, Lena Medoyoff, Sue Wong, Pronovias, Demitrios, Bill Levkoff, Alfred Angelo, Jenny Yoo,
and Michelle Sweet to name just a few.  She has increased and decreased the size of many gowns;
she has added and removed sleeves, altered necklines, waistlines, bustlines  and hemmed many different styles of gowns.

In addition to her sewing experience she has also taught classes in garment construction and sewing machine usage.  Before
becoming an alteration specialist, Kim spent 14 years in the sewing machine sales business, and several years working in a fabric
store.  This experience has enabled Kim to develop skills interpreting each bride’s vision and communicating design solutions so
every client feels comfortable throughout the process.

Kim likes to talk with the bride.  To try and resolve fit and design issues.  Make appropriate changes according to the bride's
wishes and what can possibly be done to create the dress  of the brides dreams.

The goal of Sewing Solutions is to do whatever is possible to make the wedding gown as close to the bride’s vision as possible.


It is the bride’s day, and she should feel comfortable and beautiful
in her very special gown.
